THE ARC
Commercial plumbing is unforgiving. A hospital does not get to have a leak. An airport does not get to wait until Monday. For 23 years Clayton worked in a world where the inspector reads every joint, the schedule does not slip, and the words "good enough" do not appear on the drawings.
Residential work runs on different assumptions. Cheaper fittings, faster passes, an hourly meter that charges the customer for the crew's learning curve. Clayton had spent two decades watching homeowners get the discount version of a trade he knew could be done right.
So in 2020 he started Allen & Sons — commercial-grade methods at residential scale. Flat rates, so the number you are quoted is the number you pay. A crew trained the way commercial crews get trained. Work that would pass an inspection nobody is going to run.
Today the company covers plumbing, HVAC, remodels and ground-up new construction across Denver, Littleton, Castle Rock and Colorado Springs, plus most of the I-25 corridor in between. Still family-owned. Still the same standard.

Clayton Allen is the founder and owner of Allen & Sons Plumbing and Heating. He spent 23 years doing commercial plumbing and mechanical work across Colorado — hospitals, water treatment plants, airports, hotels and high-rises — before starting the company in 2020.

Allen & Sons was founded in 2020 in Castle Rock, Colorado. It is family-owned and still operates out of its shop at 834 South Perry St.

Commercial and institutional work is inspected joint by joint by people paid to find problems, and a hospital cannot have a leak or an unplanned shutdown. That produces habits — testing before closing walls, pulling permits, documenting work — that most residential plumbing never demands. Those habits are what we brought to houses.
